The Project

An ecosystem for youth entrepreneurship

NEETwork ME is a project led by the City of Messina, funded by the Prime Minister's Office (Department for Youth Policies) under the ANCI "Youth and Business" II Edition call. It aims to create a favorable ecosystem for launching innovative business initiatives aligned with the territory's socio-economic vocations.

The project targets NEET youth (18-29) in the Metropolitan City of Messina, involving a network of institutional, academic, and private partners including the University of Messina, IRCCS "Bonino Pulejo", the Chamber of Commerce, and 10 municipalities.

The University of Messina, through the Department of Economics and the LQS Lab, led two action lines: the analysis and mapping of local entrepreneurial opportunities, and the design of entrepreneurial orientation and culture pathways.
